Terms of Use

Last reviewed 21 October 2026.

These terms cover your use of slickflight.com and every booking you make through it. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About us

SlickFlight (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent US travel agency that arranges and issues airline tickets. We do not operate flights. Your contract of carriage is with the airline that operates your flight.

2. Who can book

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding agreement. When you book for others, you confirm you have their permission and that the details you give for them are correct.

3. Traveller details

Names must match the passport or ID used for travel. Airlines can refuse boarding when they do not, and many fares do not allow corrections. You are responsible for the names, dates of birth, contact details and travel document information you provide, and for costs caused by errors in them.

4. Prices, fees and payment

Prices come from live airline inventory and are not guaranteed until a ticket is issued. A price can change or become unavailable before then. Any SlickFlight service fee is shown as a separate line at checkout before you confirm.

Payments are handled by PCI-compliant payment partners. We do not store full card numbers and will never ask for them by email, text or chat. Some bookings are reviewed for fraud before ticketing, and we will contact you if yours is.

5. Card holds and charges

When you submit a booking, we verify your card and place an authorisation hold for the booking total. A hold is not a payment. It sets the amount aside on your card and usually shows as pending.

We charge your card only when your ticket is issued. If we cannot issue it, because the fare is gone, the airline declines the booking, or we decline it after review, we release the hold and take no payment. Your card issuer decides how fast a released hold disappears from your statement; a few business days is common.

If your card is declined at this step, no hold is placed and no booking is created. You will see this straight away and can try another card.

Holds generally lapse after about 30 days. If a booking is still open as that point nears, we will either complete it or ask you to authorise again.

6. Ticketing

A booking is complete only when the airline issues ticket numbers. Until then you have a reservation request. If ticketing fails, we will let you know and return any amount taken.

7. Changes, cancellations and refunds

The fare rules of your ticket and the operating airline decide what can be changed or refunded. We apply those rules rather than set them. See refunds and cancellations for how we handle requests and any fees.

8. Passports, visas and health rules

You are responsible for having the passports, visas, transit permissions and health documents your trip needs. These depend on nationality and route and can change quickly. Being refused boarding or entry for missing documents does not entitle you to a refund from us.

9. Airline disruption

Delays, cancellations, schedule changes and denied boarding are the operating airline's responsibility. For tickets we issued, we will work with the airline to get you rebooked or refunded, but we cannot pay compensation on an airline's behalf or force it to act.

10. Our liability

We are responsible for our own negligence in arranging and issuing your booking. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions or insolvency of airlines or other suppliers, or for indirect losses such as missed connections on separate tickets, lost earnings or non-refundable plans made elsewhere. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

11. Using the site properly

Please do not scrape, copy, overload or reverse-engineer the site, make speculative or fraudulent bookings, or use it to infringe anyone's rights. We may cancel bookings or restrict access where we reasonably believe this has happened.

12. Ownership

The site's design, text and code belong to us or our licensors. Airline names and codes belong to their owners and are used only to identify the flights being sold.

13. Updates

We may update these terms. The version in place when you book applies to that booking, and the review date above shows when they last changed.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA, and Kansas courts have jurisdiction. Please contact [email protected] first if something has gone wrong; most issues are settled without formal steps.
